The Grisons form the gateway to the Bündnerland and is home to excellent wines and the children’s book character Heidi.
The most northern part of Graubünden is a small holiday and winegrowing region which stretches along the eastern side of the Rhine to the border with the Principality of Liechtenstein. 45 grape varieties thrive here and with these our winegrowers produce more than 50 different wines a year. A truly incredible region to stay. A night in one of our SCHLAF-FÄSSER makes your visit to the Grisons unforgettable – we promise!
In addition to the vineyards and bars (we call them Torkel) there are several excursions and adventures within easy reach. How about a romantic carriage ride through the Grisons? Alternatively you could explore the route of Glacier on the slowest express train in the world. If you prefer to be active, enjoy a hike around the mountain lakes on Pizol; or enjoy a more leisurely hike up to Heidi’s Alp or visit Heidi’s village (Heididorf) in Maienfeld.
During the winter months there are four cable car operators, snowshoe trails and cross country skiing trails all located within a 10 minute drive.
Be inspired by our ideas.
